Panelized Framing

OBA's Panelized Framing Packages are comprised of top quality materials and expert craftsmanship to provide you with the best, most cost effective dried-in framed shell in the market today!  Your shell can be completely dried-in between 3 to 5 days.  Our panelized homes meet or exceed International Building Code 2004 and/or the International Residential Code 2004.

Framing a house one stud at a time can take one to three months, especially if you run into inclement weather and an inadequate framing crew more interested in working for a developer than an individual.  Wouldn't it make more sense to have your entire framing package precision engineered in a controlled environment and delivered to your site in a completely organized, ready to install package?

Your home is computer designed before the first piece of lumber is cut.  The structural integrity and precision assembly can not be exceeded with automated system built homes (stick built homes off site).

Controlled Environment: All materials are carefully selected by factory personnel to insure the highest quality standards are maintained, as opposed to typical lumber yard practices that can include inferior product with most material orders. Indoor production facilities bar against any exposure to inclement weather, which can compromise the integrity of materials and cause delays in production that can cost thousands of dollars in accrued interest!

Precision Engineering: Structured wall panels, floor and roof systems are built with the aid of state-of-the-art automation. Computerized calculations and machinery allow for precise measurements and cuts, resulting in the highest quality of craftsmanship, eliminating inconsistency and human error. Before it is loaded on a truck and delivered to your building site, your home will be inspected several times during production by in-house quality assurance experts.

Guaranteed Pricing: Once all specifications on your home are determined, and a contract is signed, you will know exactly what your "dried-in" shell will cost. Dried-in shell, meaning the complete frame of the home erected, including exterior walls with sheathing, interior partition walls, and floor systems with sub-flooring. Roof truss system with decking and felt also installed. This phase of construction can account for up to 50% of the total cost to build.

Cost Savings: Time is money, as we all know. Weather delays, lack of available quality craftsmen, no-shows, material waste, erection time, and on-site theft can contribute to significant increases in the cost to build. In a typical site built scenario these uncontrollable factors can be responsible for the complete depletion of your anticipated equity position. With Panelized Homes these issues are controlled or eliminated, which insures you retain the equity you expect to realize. Our Plant purchases lumber, components, and all materials in mass quantities and is able to pass these savings on to you, the Owner Builder!

Quality and Flexibility: You will determine all the materials to be used in the construction of your home, the design of your new home, where you want to build, and who will do the work. Styles, design, colors and brand names are all entirely your choice. Remember, it is very important that all of these are carefully considered and determined in the very beginning to adhere to the predetermined budget.
